In wind-exposed areas near the Paris Fairgrounds or open lots, hardware can loosen or break over time. If you see any of these signs, it’s best to have a professional inspect the hardware before the gate completely fails.

It depends on the extent of the damage. If the posts are still solid and only a few pickets or rails are broken, we can often replace just those sections. However, if the damage caused the posts to lean or snap, we’ll recommend replacing that section with a reinforced metal post or steeling the frame. We’ll give you an honest assessment based on what we find.

By using heavier gauge steel for brackets, hinges, and post bases, we create a much stronger connection than standard hardware. For example, we can fabricate custom gussets or add wind bracing to gates that face prevailing winds. This makes the whole fence assembly more rigid and less likely to come apart in a storm.
