Rot at the base is often from ground moisture and poor drainage, common in Gastonia's clay soils. We can replace the rotted posts with treated lumber or set them in concrete for longer life. If the damage is confined to a few posts, we repair just those sections rather than the whole fence.

Dragging gates usually mean the posts have shifted or the hinges are bent. We’ll reset the gate posts, reinforce them with gravel or concrete footings, and adjust the hardware. In many cases, a realignment and new latch do the trick without replacing the whole gate.

Leaning fences near open roads often have undersized posts or shallow footings. We recommend replacing corner and end posts with heavier gauge metal or thicker wood, set at least 24 inches deep with concrete. For existing fences, we can brace the leaning sections back to plumb and secure them.
